Hampton Jones are the project Quantity Surveyors on this $24 Million mixed-use development consisting of 5 floors of apartments,
retail space and basement parking. We are working closely with the client and key stakeholders to assist in the delivery of a high quality, sustainable building, by providing expert cost management services.
Hampton Jones are responsible for reviewing programme information and cash flows to monitor progress and advise on potential delays and cost overrun, attending monthly Project Control Group meetings to share information and ensure risks are identified and managed and organising bespoke meetings with project team members as required. Due to our proactive cost management approach with early stakeholder involvement, we have been able to drive down construction costs to meet client and stakeholder expectations whilst maintaining the quality of the project.
We have provided timely cost advice and management through the tendering and construction phases, which has assisted in delivering the project on programme and within a realistic budget. We weren’t afraid to ask the difficult questions and had the courage to challenge some decisions, which has resulted in cost and time savings.
