The task
The concept for the Auckland Hampton Jones office fitout was to create a modern carpet layout with a hint of our company brand colours: Superhero Red and Blue throughout the office.
Our thinking
The design inspiration for the carpet incorporated a herringbone pattern, creating a dynamic atmosphere breaking away from stock standard patterns and the expected. The odd red carpet plank and the juxtaposition between the light and dark areas thrown in the mix creates visual interest throughout the space. Etched AUTEX feature walls create a decorative, functional and durable interior finish and the breakout/kitchen space doubles up as an informal meeting and function space.
Zoning is achieved by different coloured floor coverings, with light carpet planks indicating staff areas and dark planks demarcating public and transition spaces. Arrows at the entrance lead the way into the spacious modern office and towards the view of the Auckland harbour.
The result
The Auckland Hampton Jones office has a clean, modern and fresh look with creative design features incorporating the brand colours and carpet patterns to separate sections of the office.
