The task
The Hampton Jones team completed this architecturally-designed 5-storey apartment building for Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities in Mt Wellington.
Our thinking
The modern building efficiently replaces 5 previous dwellings with 30 new warm, safe and dry 1- and 2-bedroom homes, making for a better use of land resources. It is constructed from precast wall and floor panels, which enables a faster build process.
The result
Hampton Jones was the Engineer to the Contract on this project and provided clear communication between the project team, prompt responses to client and the contractor’s queries, a proactive approach to potential project issues and capable management of contractor variations.
