The task
The client is developing a new business to provide high quality training for abseil access technicians. Out of the box thinking was required to provide an industrial scale climbing frame for practical exercises that can grow and extend with the business.
Our thinking
Hampton Jones designed a modular structural frame using repetitive detailing and dimensions to allow easy replication of elements for future expansion. Innovative detailing allows the frame elements to be fully demountable and re-usable. Extensive structural checks undertaken to ensure robustness and manage risks of unintended loads or damage.
The result
The results are a deceptively simple looking structure but a key asset to allow a new business to grow and respond to market needs.
