Hampton Jones Project Spotlight: Parawai Crescent in Ponsonby
Hampton Jones are acting as the Engineer to the Contract for Parawai Crescent in Ponsonby – another great project we’re currently working on for Kāinga Ora.
Kāinga Ora said:
“Great time lapse of our new development with 15 homes being constructed in central Auckland. Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) is a panelised system which has the structural strength of concrete and steel.
It can be cut into pre-fabricated panels in a factory and assembled easily on site. CLT builds like these typically take around half the time of traditional timber frame homes to put up, which means our tenants can move into new warm and dry homes sooner.”
